Bethany Andrist
I am a proud North Dakota farm girl, and I grew up on the farm my mother did near Wimbledon, ND. In 2006, I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music (emphasis in Clarinet Performance) from Northern State University, in Aberdeen, SD. During the summers of 2006 and 2007, I performed as a Burning Hills Singer in the Medora Musical alongside my husband Levi. I have enjoyed internships with the ND Council on the Arts and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC; and past employment with the University of North Dakota Foundation and the Empire Arts Center in Grand Forks, ND. Levi and I recently bought our first house and moved to Bismarck in May of 2010, and I am currently the Development Manager for the Bismarck State College Foundation. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, vegetable gardening, skiing (cross-country and downhill), and spending time outdoors. I also serve as a Board Member for the ND Alliance for Arts Education.
